Attached is a list of the changes I’ve planned and some that I’ve already implemented for the next update. Currently, I’m considering leaving Unity due to the recent controversy regarding the cost per installation they want to charge developers.
It’s not that it affects me directly, as I don’t believe I’ll ever reach the required minimum. However, it does make me wary that they might change the terms again in the future. Since I also know how to program in Python, I’ve thought about transitioning the game to Ren’Py. I believe I could recreate most of the features in Ren’Py, even if it might be a bit more cumbersome in terms of design. Especially for me, as I’m very used to working in Unity and C#

Devlog 0.1.17 – Updates and Fixes
New Features:
- New Wiki on the Web I’ve set up a wiki on www.slusiom.com where you can find all the information about events, characters, locations, mini-games, and more.
- Now you can progress through conversations just by pressing the spacebar, making it easier to play with one hand.
- Continue the main story with the introduction of Herd and Paul.
Discover the new event with Veronica.
- New intections with Jazzmin at home.
- Explore TRT Now you can access the TRT location.
- New object to be used in TRT area.
- Special Recognition: In the acknowledgments section, I’ve introduced a medal for special mentions. This distinction is dedicated to those who, even though they are no longer Patreon supporters, were in the Top 3 or contributed a significant amount at some point.
Fixes:
- To fix bugs that were carried over from versions 0.1.13 and 0.1.14 I recommend starting a new game, as many bugs are carried over from those versions. (For now, game saves from previous versions are still supported.).
- Improvements in the performance of the Gallery.
- Improved animations, I have improved the fluidity and many animations have been recreated to look more natural.
- Fixed a bug that didn’t allow the player to leave the cafeteria when he wanted to start the first event with Jazzmin.
- Fixed a bug that caused Jazzmin to be in several places at the same time, because she was always asleep on the sofa.
- Fixed a bug that caused the Jazzmin 1 event to repeat constantly.
- Fixed a bug that marked a mission available in Coffee Shop even when there is no mission available.
- Fixed a bug that let you see the start of previous animations when loading a new one.
- Fixed a bug where the shopping menu of the empty room remained open or locked in some cases
- Fixed a bug that could not detect when someone presses the buttons in the mini agility game.
Changes:
- Removed all Update() functions, to avoid freezes on devices with fewer resources.
- Changed the size of the salon video console panel to make it easier to use on mobile devices.
- Redesigned the size of the Gallery slots in the main menu.
- Improved the Agility mini-game, now it detects better the keystrokes / clicks and the level affects more intensely the time of each button.
- Re-created Jeanne 2 event due to errors in rendering and animations.
- Minor corrections in texts and interface.
- Updated the acknowledgements.
