Important Notice Regarding Windows Defender and Our Launcher

Hello everyone,

We’ve become aware that some of you are receiving a security warning from Windows Defender when trying to run or update the game via our launcher.

First and foremost: we want to assure you that our launcher is 100% safe and does not contain any viruses.

Why is this happening?

This issue is what’s known as a “false positive.” It happens because our launcher is new software and performs necessary tasks to keep the game updated (like connecting to our servers and downloading files).

Because Windows Defender doesn’t recognize our software yet, it prefers to be overly cautious and flags it “just in case,” even though it is completely legitimate. This is a common issue that affects many programs from independent developers.

What are we doing to fix it?

We have already reported this error to Microsoft so they can recognize our launcher as safe in their upcoming updates. This process may take a few days.

What can you do to play now?

While we wait for Microsoft to resolve the issue, you can manually tell Windows Defender to trust our program. It’s simple and completely safe:

1. Open “Windows Security” (you can search for it in the Start Menu).
2. Go to the “Virus & threat protection” section.
3. Click on “Protection history”.
4. Look for the most recent blocked threat related to our launcher. You will see it mentions one of our files (likely a .dll file).
5. Click on that threat, then on the Actions button. Select “Allow on device” or “Restore”.

By doing this, you are telling your antivirus that our program is trustworthy, and it won’t be blocked again.
